Melody is originally from Mexico, she obtained a B.Sc in Biochemical Engineering from the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biológicas – IPN (Hons) in 2009. Currently, Melody is studying for a PhD in Analytical Science and she joined the Gardner Group to study the drug cell interaction using FTIR. She is based between the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology (MIB) and the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research (PICR) under the supervision of Prof. Peter Gardner.
