Kayto did her undergraduate degree of Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester in 2011 – 2015, obtained a 1st honor Masters of Engineering. Kayto worked in the Gardner’s group for her final year dissertation project of undergraduate study, investigating drug resistance in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) using FTIR spectroscopy.
Kayto returned to the group after her graduation in 2015 as a PhD research student. Her project is aimed to develop a fully automated cell sorting system by using the Raman laser tweezers system developed by our previous group members and collaborator.
